Our Approach
to Psychedelics
We understand that healing past trauma can feel like a long winding road. Our experienced team is here to guide you every step of the way. With leading partners in the medical psychedelics space, we provide evidence-based, ketamine enhanced psychotherapy. Let us help you explore your core.

What is the role of psychedelic therapy?
Psychedelic medicine allows us to explore ourselves, and the world around us in a new way. With the use of ketamine in combination with psychotherapy, we will guide you through a truly unique and transformative therapy that will help you awaken the hard-to-reach areas of yourself that may be impacted by PTSD or depression.
A Catalyst For Change
You may be stuck in negative thought patterns, self-destructive behavior, or not being as productive as you’d like to be. You may want to improve your relationships or just change certain habits that are no longer serving you.
Research has shown that psychedelic therapies can be a powerful catalyst for change. Psychedelic therapies help individuals retrain their minds; accessing the ability to override old habits and instead replace them with a more positive feedback loop. We are here to help you re-discover the real you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does ketamine therapy work?
Ketamine therapy interacts with the brains neurotransmitters and therefore has an effect on anxiety, pain and can act as an antidepressant. When combined with psychotherapy, low doses of ketamine have been found to relax one’s mind and reduce anxiety and depression.
Is it safe?
The team at Field Trip Health will pair you with a trained medical professional to ensure that the treatment is personalized to your needs. Under this stringent medical supervision, Ketamine is a safe and effective alternative therapy.
Is this covered by Veterans Affairs?
Yes, Blue Cross will cover the cost of therapy as long as this is not your first line of treatment and have tried other treatments that proved unsuccessful.
How does ketamine feel?
You may notice physical sensations such as tingling in various parts of the body, the feeling of being relaxed, and a slightly elevated heart rate. Individuals may notice a change in their perception of space and time.
What are the therapeutic benefits?
Each ketamine experience will be unique. People often notice a quieting of normal thoughts that go through their head at any given time. When physical reactions to emotions are quieted, many find that this can facilitate a gentler exploration of memories, emotions, and experiences. A variety of experiences can occur during the ketamine session – you should remain open to what may arise, trust in the process, and let it flow rather than try to direct or fight the experience. This may include facing uncomfortable emotions, or the feeling of not having an experience. The therapist is in the room with you throughout the experience and ready to support you through any challenges you may experience.
